a covid friendly online campaign and rebrand inspired mutated produce
The Wynd Fruitiers is a local produce store where all the available goods are locally sourced. Tucked away in a corner, overshadowed by cheaper alternatives such as Sainsbury’s and Co-op less than a minute walk away it unfortunately doesn’t get the recognition it recieves.
Originally I’d like to have done something physical as they have little to no online presence however due to covid this was a problem I couldn’t work around.
The first part was the branding, it felt vintage which worked well with the store however it also blended into the background as all the other stores nearby had similar branding. I kept the vibe with colours and serif fonts while also making a website.
The second focus was an online campaign on their website that is all about the beauty of the disposed mutated produce. Giving each of them a frame and their own sapce, it became an gallery beautifying the traditionally ugly produce.
